Walking in, the first thing one notices about Tuk Tuk, is the bright colors, the silver accents, and how the sense of being outdoors is wonderfully captured on the inside. This authentic Indian street food restaurant located on a quiet residential street, pays visual homage to the food hawking scenes of India located by roadsides and in railway stations.

Founded in 2012, Tuk Tuk in Edinburgh is the flagship restaurant with another located in Glasgow City Centre. The restaurant has also won best Scottish Street Food at the Food Awards as well. And the customer service is commendable. The crowd size reflects that.

Make sure to try the chicken lollipops made with Moreish Keralan spieces. My tastebud memories transported me back to my trip to New Delhi India. I went a second time just for the chicken lollipops.
