This entry is for all of you who like luxury when you travel and want to stay at one-of-a-kind, quaint, eco-conscious establishments that are in (or close to) a bustling area in a country. The Little Arches boutique hotel is a place you must consider.

The hotel is adjacent to the Enterprise (aka Miami) beach on the south coast and close to the famous Oistins Fish Market. The 10-bedrooms are in the hotel are equipped with beds so soft you want to stay in them all day long (ok, ok - I speak from experience). I stayed at Little Arches for 2-nights, and I literally spent most of one day in bed! I finally had to get up because the comfortable pillow-top beds are not the only highlight.

The terracotta terrace overlooking the ocean was a great place to Zen out. My favorite activity? Swinging on one of the two hammocks, feeling the Caribbean breeze kiss my skin, and hearing the soothing sound of water falling into the beautifully-tiled plunge pool. The hotel's glamorous cabana across the street is as spectacular as the terrace. The food at the award-winning Café Luna, located on the hotel's top floor, was delectable.

Little Arches managed to make me feel like I was creating amazing new memories and reliving wonderful old ones at the same time. This hotel’s décor is a seamless blend of Italian, Moroccan, Mexican, and Caribbean vibes - I will definitely be going back.
