Limonada de Coco (Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia)

Limonado de Coco, is a non-alcoholic drink loved in the Atlantic coast cities of Santa Marta, Barranquilla and Cartagena. It is the perfect refreshing drink for a hot climate. The drink is made out of fresh coconut cream, fresh lime juice, ice and sugar. You can pretty much find it at any eating establishments or make it yourself. Street vendors sell the drink as well. Watch out though, the sugar content is incredibly high, and it is easy to get carried away and consume it like it is water.
